Mrs. Clister Taylor Hairr, 80 of 3536 Farmbrook Road died on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P. M. on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Richard Willford officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Roseboro.
Mrs. Hairr was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Cleo and Mafalda Spell Taylor. She was the widow of the late Fermon Hairr and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Kay Maxwell and husband, Doug of Wade, Phyllis Hyatt of Eastover and Deborah Wellons and husband, John of Fayetteville; three sons, Fermon Hairr, Jr. and wife, Ada of Fayetteville, Bobby Ray Hairr and wife, Charlotte and Edward Hairr and wife, Iris all of Eastover; three sisters, Joann Winders and Wanda Howell both of Fayetteville and Elsie Childs of Leland; one brother, Elworth Taylor of Autryville; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM on Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
