Helen B. Sanner, 86, of Penn Township, formerly of Level Green, went home to be with her Lord Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born May 9, 1926, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Ulysses D. and Alberta Grimes Grove. She was a graduate of South Union High School and the Cadet Nurse Program at Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was also a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Harrison City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Hazel Hassinger; and a brother, Ralph Grove. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold R. Sanner; a son, Timothy G. Sanner and his wife, Barbara, of Chandler, Ariz.; two daughters, Betsy L. Krotz and her husband, Thomas, and Amy B. Buras and her husband, James, both of Damascus, Md.; six grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica and Brittany Sanner, Daniel Krotz and Emily and Jesse Buras. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME, 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. John E. Ciampa officiating. Entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Mausoleum, North Huntingdon Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community United Methodist Church Building Fund.
