My Dear children & grandchildren,
God in his great love & mercy hast given us life, breath, & all things; & now we are nearing the end of another year. Soon another milestone of life will be passed & a new year dawn on a sinful & troubled world. Now dear ones let me beg of you ever one to resolve with me to live closer & nearer to God this coming year than we did in the year just gone. God has in his mercy & love toward us given us more time as it were to serve him to make our calling & election sure so let's make the best of this wonderful opportunity & come boldly to the throne of mercy & cry unto our God & he will hear us & deliver as he cannot lie & his promises are sure, & his loving invitation is come thou & all thy house into the ark. My greatest desire if it would be Gods will would be this, an unbroken family in the Kingdom of God. So dear ones lets all try our best to serve him more & more each day Lets let our motto ever be our house shall serve the Lord.

"RESTING IN HEAVEN" - What a shame that Grandma Oatman's marker reflects the beliefs of others, but which, with her Bible-based Christadelphian faith, were never her own.
