Brenda "Kay" Barnes, 54, passed away on December 22, 2012 at the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, IL.

She was born October 25, 1958 in Lafayette, Indiana to Russell & Nina (Hale) Letson. She married Bradley C. Barnes on June 23, 1984.

Survived by her husband, Bradley C. Barnes of Rural Frankfort; mother, Nina Letson of Lafayette, IN; 4 Sons, Rusty A., Daniel E., Samuel B. & Michael T. Barnes all at Home; 2 Brothers, Dale (Wife-Loria) Letson of Lafayette, IN & Doyle (Wife-Grete) Letson of Novi, MI; 1 Sister, Glenda (Husband-Chico) Jensen of Fishers, IN; 12 Nieces and Nephews; 10 Great Nieces and Nephews along with several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins,

She was preceded in death by her Father and a Sister: Bertha Sarjent.

Kay was a Homemaker and a caring, strong and loving Mother and Wife. She had lived in Clinton County since 1986 and was a 1977 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Goodwin's.

Memorials may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery.
