Lou Ann ECKLEY, 44, of Boalsburg died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at Centre
Community Hospital in College Township. Born April 22, 1956, in
Huntingdon, she was a daughter of Dorothy Chilcote Kelly of Huntingdon
and the late Lewis Kelly. On May 20, 1978, she married Mark E. Eckley,
who survives at home. She was a 1974 graduate of Huntingdon High School
and a 1976 graduate of South Hills Business School in State College. She
was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school,
and the PTAs at Panorama Elementary and Mount Nittany Middle schools,
all in State College. She was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society
and other local organizations. She enjoyed flower gardening. In addition
to her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Matthew P. and
Paul M., both at home, and a sister, Patti Boysen of Livonia, Mich. The
funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev.
Robert M.A.L. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery,
Huntingdon.
