He was born Aug. 18, 1918, in Morris, a son of Guy and Margaret Roy Ingold.
He married Lois Bean Dec. 17, 1938, at Washburn. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard and Mike, both of Washington; three daughters, Karen Haig and Betty Ulrich, both of Washburn; and Kathy Ingold, Peoria Heights; two brothers, William, Belvidere, and Robert, Peoria; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son.
Mr. Ingold operated Ingold Hardware and later was a salesman for the Clow Co. For the last four years, lie worked at Winkler Hardware.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Washburn; Washburn American Legion Post 661; and the Peoria Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member and past master of Washburn AF & AM Lodge 421.
