OBITUARY - Ethridge Rites Due - Purley W. Ethridge, 85, died Tuesday at his Centralia residence. Born April 11, 1884 in Kansas, he moved to Centralia in 1940 from Raymond. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Ford's Prairie Grange, and the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lockey E. Ethridge, at home; two sons, Isom H. and Carl F., Centralia; a brother, Joe of California; three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Thursday, 1:30 p.m., at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia with Rev. Charles R. Butcher officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Centralia.
