Mr. Stephens was the son of Francis & Matilda Stephens.
He was survived by his widow, Tressa, Centralia; and daughter Mrs. Elizabeth Bedford; and one brother George G. Stephens, both of Centralia; also survived by numerous nieces and one nephew. He was a member of the Centralia First Christian Church.
