SALISBURY, Jan. 8
Mrs. Rosa Mayberry Wright, 78, of Route 6, Salisbury, died at 5:40 p.m. today at Rowan Memorial Hospital. She had been in declining health six years and seriously ill since Sunday. She was born in Lenoir. She was a member of King’s Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Clarence Keller of Statesville; two daughters, Mrs. R.A. Smith of Route 1, Hudson and Mrs. Zeb V. Johnson of Route 6, Salisbury; two brothers, Vance and Jess Keller of Route 1, Lenoir; one sister, Mrs. Metta Roberts of Route 1, Lenoir; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Friendly Baptist Church with the Rev. Neil King, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Concord.
