Her siblings were Howard (b. Nov 1914), Rita (b. Dec 1919), Gerald (b. Mar 1921) and William (b. 1923). She had a younger brother, Charles Franklin Jr. (b. Sept 1917) who died as a baby. She was always called Phyllis.
Phyllis married at age 17 to Edward Eastmond in July or August of 1933. They resided in Union Beach, NJ and raised eight children born between 1934 and 1942. They are: Kathryn "Joan", David, Edward Jr., Virginia "Ginny," William, Marilyn "Rita," Walter and Carole.
Phyllis died at age 67 in 1983--the year of her 50th wedding anniversary. Survived by husband, her eight children and 22 grandchildren born between 1958 and 1973. She was also a great-grandmother.
