Services for Mrs. Cripe will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home with Rev. Larry O'Dell officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-11am prior to the service. Burial will follow in McInturff Cemetery, Hagarstown, IL. Memorials may be made to 2nd Chance Animal Rescue.
Mrs. Cripe was born November 7, 1921, in Nokomis, IL the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Osborne) Brown. She married John Cripe July 24, 1948 in Pocahontas, AR, he preceded her in death on November 11, 1967. She was a hairdresser and had worked at Fayco Enterprises.
She is survived by her son Jerry Cripe and his wife Charlene; granddaughter Amanda Cole and husband Shannon; grandson Cassidy Cripe; step grandchildren Ronnie Pyle and wife Amy, Sara Gable, Mike Gable, and Regina Burks; great grandchildren Monica, Madison, Kaylee, Chase, Alyssa, Devon, Kirsten, and John.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
