Ensign G. A. Enloe, USNR, was designated Naval Aviator #8730 in 1941. Entered active service via the pre-war Aviaton Cadet (AVCAD) program. Was released from active duty in 1945 and remained in the reserves. Held rank of Captain at time of death.

Awarded the DFC during World War II.

George, a customer service Rep with Alaska Airlines, was killed along with 34 other passengers and eight crew members, in the crash of a Boeing 720 jet airliner of Northwest Orient Airlines (Flight 705) that had departed Miami seven minutes earlier.
