Al "Woody" Williamson was born to John A. and Florence (Harding) Williamson in Bremerton.

He attended Bremerton schools and served in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers during WWII. He wed Louise D. (Kanthack) Grandy at Fort Lawton, WA, on 10 December 1944.

He and his father ran Williamson's Machine Shop on Burwell St. for many years. He retired from PSNS and Safeway. He was a kind, gentle, loving soul to all who knew him. A member of the Family of God Lutheran Church, he always lent a hand to anyone in need.

Preceded in death by his brother LeRoy, a nephew and two great-grandsons, he is survived by wife Louise, brother James, daughters Joan Ferguson, Sandra (David) Ledbetter, Debra (Patrick) Hartman, and Shannon (Adam)Ransom; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful staff at Martha and Mary in Poulsbo, for their excellent and loving care. Papa, we love you so much! Rest in blessed peace with Our Father.
