FIVE-YEAR OLD GIRL SCALDED TO DEATH
Helena Johnson, 5 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brack Johnson died at the Mercy Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio at 7:15 o'clock Friday evening from burns received shortly after noon Wednesday when she fell into a tub of hot suds in which her mother had been washing clothes.
Her body was brought to this county Friday evening and funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Rough Creek with the Revs. Howard Sherman and Robert Johnson officiating. Interment was in the Rough Creek Cemetery by House and McHargue.
Helena was born March 4, 1932, in Hamilton.
Besides her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Marie, Geneva and Bettie Gene Johnson and two brothers, Jackson and James Johnson.
