Connie Barker, 77, of Ballston Spa, NY, and formerly of Syracuse, died Wednesday. She was a 1952 graduate of Altmar-Parish Williamstown High School, Connie had a love for dogs. Surviving are two sons, Charles and Cynthia of Merrimack, NH, and David and Gwen Barker of Bennington, VT; a daughter, Michelle Barker of Ballston Spa; two grandchildren, Sigrid and Kennedy Barker; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., with services to follow immediately at 4 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse. Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
