OBITUARY – WILLIAM FREDRICK
William H.J. Fredrick, 88, of Moundville Township, died April 26, 1983 at the Jefferson Care Center in Baraboo. He was born December 4, 1894 in Packwaukee Township to Julius and Amelia Leverentz. He married the former Essie Hume on May 29, 1917 in Briggsville and was a lifelong area resident and farmer. Mr. Fredrick was a member of the Moundville United Methodists Church and the M.M. M. Club. He is survived by two sons, Leo, Fort Winnebago Township. And William Jr., Moundville Township; two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor (Joseph) Lilley of Madison, and Mrs. Lida May (Wood) Hampshire, New London; four brothers, Emil of Moundville, August of Horicon, Albert of Portage and Art of Moundville; two sisters, Mrs. Elvina Burton of Baraboo and Mrs. Mabel Heiman of Portage; 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie; one daughter, Leora Beaver; and one son, Harold. Funeral services were held Friday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m. at the Moundville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jane Follmer officiating. Burial was in the Moundville Cemetery. Arrangements made by the Port-Axtell Funeral Home, Portage.
