Mollie moved with her family from Canton, OH, to San Jose, CA, in 1954.
Mollie joins her brothers and sisters, Ernie D'Antonio, Ann Masciantonio, Eva Ormando, Marie Bush and her two late husbands, Charles Spinelli and Joseph Huelsman.
She is survived by her three children, Loretta Miller, of San Jose, Jeraldine Cozad and husband Terry, of Wasilla, AK, and son, Chuck Spinelli and wife Jackie of Anchorage, AK. Mollie was also the proud grandma to nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mollie quit school after 8th grade to go to work to help with the family finances after her mother's death during childbirth of her sister Marie. Mollie went to work at the basket factory and was the first in her family to own and drive a car, which she passed on to her brother Ernie.
During her 25 years of marriage to Charles (Keddy) Spinelli, Mollie was a homemaker and was widowed in 1961. She returned to work at various jobs and attended beauty school to fulfill her long-standing aspiration to become a hairdresser, while her youngest child finished school. In 1970 Mollie married Joe Huelsman and became a full time homemaker again.
She was always the life of the party. Mollie was a member of the Jolly Dollies, a Kazoo band that entertained at retirement homes and churches. She was also a member of the Italian American Club and The Royal Arcanum, Twin Peaks Chapter. She had a great sense of humor, a sharp tongue and a colorful vocabulary. She will be greatly missed!
