Graveside services for former Oswego resident Frederick J. Coyer, 58, who died Saturday in Bradenton, Fla., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego.

A native of Oswego, Mr. Coyer lived in Greenwich, Conn., for 25 years. He retired as a partner in the law firm of Coyer-Lambert in Old Greenwich, Conn. Mr. Coyer was a graduate of Oswego High School, St. Michael's College in Toronto and Fordham Law School.

Mr. Coyer was a communicant of St. Clement's Catholic Church, Stamford, Conn. He served as a director of the Museum of Cartoon Arts and the local chapter of the American Red Cross. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ellen Burden; a son, Frederick IV of Greenwich; two daughters, Elizabeth Hardey of Rindge, N.H., and Jean Coyer of Greenwich; his mother, Mary Hurley Coyer of Oswego; two sisters, Margaret Stevens of Santa Maria, Calif., and Barbara Caracciola of Oswego; a brother, Richard of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.

Contributions be made to St. Clement's Church or the Museum of Cartoon Arts, Conley Ave., Port Chester.
