Mary Susan "Sudie" Prillaman was the sixth child of Fleming Martin Prillaman and his wife Drucilla Price Turner of Franklin County, Virginia. Fleming was a veteran of the Civil War, having served as a sergeant in Co. B, 57th Regt., C.S.A., and was wounded at Gettysburg.

Mary Susan ("Sudie") married Albert Virgiluis Neblett on 15 May 1901. They had two children:

......1. William Togo Neblett, born 28 Sept. 1904, died
.........29 August 1937.

......2..Marie Douglas Neblett (Gandy), born 17 Aug. 1902.
.........She married George Newcomb Gandy, born 26 April
.........1900. They had one child.


"Sudie" and Albert are buried at Newport News, Virginia.
