ELWOOD-Ora A. Hinds, 79, of Rt. I, Greentown, who had been ill several weeks, died Tuesday morning in the Tipton County Memorial Hospital. He was a son of William K. and Wilhemina H. Hinds, and was a member of the New Hope Friends Church. He was married in 1910 to the former Sylvia G. Walker, who survives. Other survivors include three children, Evin Hinds and Mrs. Lorinelle Campbell of Lafayette, and Mrs. Madonna Renbager of Greentown; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Russell of Liberty, and Mrs. Irene Waymire of Elwood; and nine grandchildren. The body was taken to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home where friends will be received after noon Wednesday. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Chester Mitchell of Tipton and the Rev. Roy King of Greentown. Burial will take place in the Elwood City Cemetery.
