ALMA C. FRANKLIN DIES WEDNESDAY- Alma C. Franklin passed away in Ontario Wednesday evening. He had been a resident of Walla Walla, Wash. He formerly farmed in the Harper area for 10 years. He was born in Mountain Grove, Mo., on January 12, 1878. He was 77 when he died. He is survived by a son Claude Franklin of Walla Walla, Wash.; and a brother Jim Franklin of Lark, Utah. The remains will be forwarded Friday by the George C. Beechler Funeral Home to Milton-Freewater, Oregon, for services and interment.
