Emma was employed as a nurse's aide at Mercy Hospital for 27 years, retiring in 1985.
She is survived by
her husband, Elmer Whitesell of Hamilton;
six children, Glenn (Sharon) Grubb of Brookville, Indiana, Gary (Debbie) Grubb of Okeechobee, Florida, Dallas Grubb Jr., Rosie (John) Heinrich, James (Midge) Grubb, and David Grubb, all of Hamilton;
a brother, Herbert Ball of Manchester, Kentucky;
two sisters, Rosa Heuser and Edith Caudill, both of Holiday, Florida;
16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
a brother, Arthur Ball;
a sister, Mae Patterson;
a grandson, James Grubb.
