Mrs. Doylene Daniels age 78 of Alford, Fl passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Daniels was a member of the Damascus Freewill Baptist Church. She shared her love for her family and friends thru her strong faith in God and her fabulous cooking. She also enjoyed time in her flower garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Otis Daniels, her son Michael R. Daniels and her sister, Myrle Chance. Mrs. Daniels is survived by three sons, Dwight Daniels and his wife Nathalea if Cullman, AL, Jimmy Daniels and wife Resa of Davie, FL and Calvin Daniels and his wife Kim of Cottondale, one daughter, Janice Joiner and her husband Tony of Valdosta, GA, her daughter-in-law, Mary Daniels of Alford, four brothers, James Edward Melvin and wife Nancy of Alford, George Melvin and wife Iris of Grand Ridge, Glenn Melvin and wife Cheryl of Longwood, FL and Tommy Melvin and wife Donna of Showlow, AZ, four sisters, Edna Daniels, Gladys Branning, Brenda Isler and husband Bobby all of Alford and Diane Wade and husband Mark of Ocala, FL, nine grandchildren, Justin Joiner, Jason Joiner, Robert Daniels, Nathan Daniels, Ryan Daniels, Cathy Anderson, Megan Daniels, Desiree Daniels, Dru Daniels and three great grandchildren Services for Mrs. Daniels will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 1, 2012 in the Damascus Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Ezra P. Caynor officiating. Interment will follow in the Alford City Cemetery. A time of remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 6PM to 8PM in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
