Freda was ennumerated in the 1910 federal census of Lincoln County in North Fox Township; head of household was her father, Philip Miller.
Freda died on 31 May 1912 at 10 PM after being ill for 10 days. Her death certificate gave the cause of death as malaria; her mother, Coy Miller, always said she died of typhoid. Overlapping symptoms often made diagnosis difficult at that time.
Her parents buried her in Black Cemetery. A small life gone so soon, she left her father, mother and a one-year old sister. She is "gone but not forgotten."
