Born January 13, 1953, he was a 1971 graduate of Booneville High School. He was employed with Cooper Tire for 20 years and retired from the Booneville School System in 2010. He was a member of Faith Harvest Church.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Pannell-Allen; three children, Jason Allen of Winona, Nina Allen of Booneville, and Degratious Jenkins (Anna) of Silver Springs, Maryland; three sisters, Irma Allen, Marvelene (Roosevelt) Spencer both of Booneville, and Mary Francis (Marshall) Allen; four brothers, John N. Allen, Thomas D. Allen, Norman T. Allen and Bobby Shinault; and grandchildren, Tyler (Deanna) Allen, Jasmine Allen, Jalen Warren, Jaymen Allen, Maria Jenkins, Sara Grace Hatch and Zara Faith Pittman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. and Minnie O. Allen; grandparents, Trillion and Hattie Crump and Ernest and Georgia Allen; and siblings, Lee Ernest Allen and Bobby Neal Allen.
