Died.
In this city, Sunday morning, 7th inst., Mrs. Mary Johns, wife of Harden Johns, of this city,died after a lingering illness of some months. The lady's age was not far from 40 years. Surviving her are the husband and five children, who have the sympathy of many friends. Mrs. Johns was a daughter of the pioneer Wm. McCants. She was a lady of many excellent characteristics, a good neighbor and loving wife and mother. The funeral took place Monday afternoon, Rev. T. J. Wood officiating; burial rite at Moss Ridge.
