Theresa was born in Manitowoc on November 29, 1930, daughter of the late Lorena & Isadore Meyer. On May 24, 1952 she married Earl H. Holschbach. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1976. On April 9, 1980 she married Leroy Waack at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
She lived a life of generosity in always putting others before herself, especially her family. She worked at Mirro Aluminum until she started raising her family and found herself working at Earl's side on the family farm. When her daughters started working at Club Bil-Mar she joined them and made it a family affair. Upon passing the family farm onto her son, Jeff Holschbach, she began her employment at Manitowoc Automotive, retiring in 1995.
Her life was about serving others and giving back to the Church and community. One way she lived out that mission was the many hours she volunteered at the Manitowoc Health Care Center with the Angel Association. She loved tending the greenhouse and growing many beautiful geraniums, as well as helping out in the gift shop. Another enjoyment was serving at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with the Christian Women and the Prayer Shawl Group. Also, Theresa always looked forward to her swimming class at the YMCA and to meeting the many special people. Theresa and Leroy also enjoyed traveling.
