Betty Bouchee Colborn , 72 of Ammon, Idaho, died peacefully Dec. 6th 2009, at her home. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

Betty was born December 12th, 1936 in Livingston, Montana, to James Rodney and Cecil Mercedes Bouchee. Betty was raised in Livingston and attended high school at park county. She met Lynn Clousing and married him in 1952. They moved to Billings, Montana, where they had 4 children. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1962 and later divorced. Betty attended business school and worked for Beneficial Finance and Tempo Dept. store in accounting. She met and married Stan Colborn in 1964. Together they purchased their first family restaurant , Me-N-Stan's, in Rexburg, Id. In 1969. They operated restaurants in St. Anthony, Jackson Hole, West Yellowstone and currently in Rigby being well known for their good food.

Their family became the Colborn/Clousing Clan in 1970 when Stan's 4 boys moved to Rexburg and joined her four children. They were raised as one big family and all helped run the family business.

Betty loved her children and had a heart for displaced kids taking in several through out the years. She looked forward to crocheting for her family and loved spending time with them. Often times, you could find a gathering at her home on Friday nights to play games and enjoy delicious food. But most of all, she loved working with Stan at any of their restaurants. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Shiloh Foursquare Church in Idaho Falls.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Keith Colborn, brother, James Richard Bouchee (Janet) of Helena, MT; daughter, Toby Smart (Ted) of Ammon; son, Kevin Colborn (Kathy) of Harriman, UT; daughter, Terri Clark (Rick) of Idaho Falls; son, Donae Colborn (Jo Anne) of Idaho Falls; son, Rod Clousing Sr. (Jacqueline) of Great Valley, NY; son, Kris Colborn (Becky) of Tri Cities, WA; son, Russell Clousing of Le Grande, OR; daughter, Lisa Rowhan (Matt) of Iona; thirty-eight grandchildren and forty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Eugene Colborn and a granddaughter, Jamie Dawn Nelson.
