Martin on 26 Apr 1905 in Escanaba, Delta Co., MI. Had 2 sons Donald Hugh(1906-1961) and Robert James (1908-1989) before moving, first, to Hopkinsville, Christian Co., Kentucky by the 1910 Federal Census, then to Clinton, Clinton Co., Iowa around 1911-12, to Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., Indiana by 1913, then to Regina and Moosejaw, both in Saskatchewan Province, Canada by 1919 thru 1922. Finally, they permanently relocated to Oregon: Portland, Multnomah Co., then Corvallis, Benton Co. where he was a piano tuner (after many years as a traveling piano salesman) until his death in 1939.
