Judith (Granese) Chassey, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend Judith Alberta (Granese) Chassey, died suddenly on Saturday, October 9th, in Ogden, Utah, after a lengthy illness.

Judith was born in Norristown, Pa., on August 8, 1955. She attended Epiphany of Our Lord School in Norristown, and graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in 1972. Judith went on to attend Montgomery County College and Robert Morris College before pursuing a career as a mother. She married her high school sweetheart Edward Chassey on January 22, 1977. The couple was blessed with two sons, Alexander Joseph and Joshua Parga.

Afflicted with Polymiocitis, Judith unfailingly excelled as a mother, educator and friend to her children and the community. The family established residences in Spring, Texas, and Cerritos, CA before settling in Ogden Utah. While living in Utah, the family belonged to the St. James Catholic Church in Ogden.

Judith was well regarded as an artist and craftsperson, creating countless personal greetings and mementos for family and friends.

Judith died in her husband's arms in her family home. She is survived by her husband and sons, her parents, Albert and Theresa (Narducci) Granese of Plymouth Meeting, and her brother, Joseph Granese of Ocean City, NJ.

A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 18 at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting. The family will greet relatives and friends after the memorial Mass at the narthex of the church. Interment will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery, Conshohocken.

The family requests no flowers but contributions may be made to an educational trust fund c/o MM A Granese, 1907 Johnson Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
