Edith L. Jones, age 89, of Salida, Colorado died Saturday, December 16, 1995 at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 2, 1906 in Salida to George and Lucy (Evans) Vaughn.
Edith was preceeded in death by her husband Roy L. Jones; a son Roy E. Jones; her parents, brothers; Lester, Fred, and Paul Vaughn; sisters, May Glenn, Esther and Jessie Vaughn.
She is survived by four grand-children, Maureen, Roger, Becky and Debbie; several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing is scheduled for today from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lewis and Glenn Chapel. Reverend Jim Luallen will officiate at the services set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 19th at the Funeral Home Chapel as well. Organist is Frank Lanaghan with vocalist being Steve Taylor.
Pallbearers are Russ Koenig, Jim Bertrand, George Smith, John Smyth, Ed and Roy Oliver.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery beside her husband and son.
