GREAT BEND – Lela D. Wilson, 102, died Dec. 31, 2012 at Sterling House of Great Bend.
She was born Sept. 18, 1910 at Trousdale, the daughter of Ira and Minnie (Mayhew) Parker.
Lela married Thomas Lafe Wilson Sept. 2, 1933 at Trousdale. He died July 6, 2004. A Great Bend resident since 1994 coming from Pratt, Lela was a homemaker and farm wife, helping with many aspects of the family farm. Lela was a member of EHU, Trousdale; life member of OES Lorraine Chapter No. 39, Pratt; and attended the First Christian Church, Great Bend.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Thill, Great Bend; three grandchildren, Kristie Thill and companion John Horner, Great Bend; David Thill and wife Shellie, Great Bend; Michelle Doll, San Diego, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren, Emilie, Ashley, and Thomas Thill, all of Great Bend; and Sean Doll, San Diego, Calif.
She was preceded in passing by a sister, Lenora Cudney.
A Funeral Service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Great Bend with the Rev. William F. Johnson officiating. Interment will be Belpre Cemetery at 2 p.m. Monday. Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 9 p.m., Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to Sterling House (the Courtyard Fund), in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
