NEW SITE – Shirley Edwards McAllister, 77, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born June 19, 1935, to Morgan S. and Mary Jane Harris Edwards. She attended Midway Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls.
Services will be at 1 p.m. at Roller–Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Ark., with Bro. Eldon Gill officiating. Burial will be in Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark. Local services are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, P.J. McAllister; her parents; and six sisters, Ann Adams, Relda Brand, Mabel Johnson; Flossy Marotti and two infants.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
