Funeral services for Henry J. Deshaies, 56, of 47 Sycamore Street, were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Mary's Church.

Mr. Deshaies died at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, October 28, 1971 in Massena Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient five days.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Labarge Deshaies; three sons, David Deshaies, Fayetteville, Henry Donald Deshaies, Ogdensburg, William Deshaies, Fulton; three daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Norma) Kelly, Leroy, NY, Mrs. Wayne (Elizabeth) Bogette, Syracuse, Miss Jane Deshaies, att home; 10 grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Joseph, Ralph and Arthur Deshaies, all of Massena; four sisters, Mrs. Albert (Eva) LeBlanc, Waterbury, CT, Mrs. Frank (Grace) LaCroix and Mrs. Clark (Florence) Werely, both of Massena, Mrs. Napoleon (Ida) Deso, Peru, NY.

Mr. Deshaies was born August 117, 1915, in St. Sylvere, Quebec, a son of David and Maude Rivers Deshaies. He and Miss Beatrice Labarge were married in the Church of the Visitation at Norfolk, October 2, 1937.

He came to the United States in 1922. He was a painter at Massena Operations, Alcoa.

He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of the League of the Sacred Heart.
