REDDING - Graveside services for Marian Elaine Brown , 74, of Redding will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lawncrest Memorial Park.
Bishop Donald Bentley of the Second Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Redding will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
Mrs. Brown died Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at her residence.
Born July 19, 1922, in Knight, Wyo., she moved to Shasta County in 1996 from Eagle Point, Ore.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Second Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Redding, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 6881 in Eagle Point and the Women's Bowling Association in Eagle Point, Ore., and Medford, Ore.
Survivors include husband Daughfus "Bud"; daughters Betty Jessop of Newark, Louise Kay of Redding and Karen Jessop of Hayward; stepdaughters Dorothy Blake of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Janet Saathoff of Tacoma, Wash.; brother Jerry Barnes of Salt Lake City; sister Charlene Hayes of West Valley City, Utah; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
