From Camden County, New Jersey. Son of John, Sr. and Cecily B. Lesher. A 1939 graduate of Audubon High School. Entered the Army in January, 1942.
2nd Lieutenant Lesher was Killed In Action aboard U.S. Army Air Corps B-25J Mitchell #43-3948 over/near Liuchow, China.
His body was brought home to New Jersey in the fall of 1947 and laid to rest in Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery, October 31st, 1947.
