Clarence Harvey Jasper, 87, of Stinnett died Wednesday, January 2, in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the Church of Christ in Stinnett with Zeb Sailors, former minister and Robert Clay, minister officiating. Interment will be at the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Clarence was born to William Lawyer and Agnes Chisum Jasper on November 12, 1925 in Hutchinson County. He married Mildred Plumlee on July 12, 1975, in Borger. He was a longtime resident of Hutchinson County. Clarence was a foreman at Hutchinson County Pct. 3, and a full time cowboy. He was a former member of the Hutchinson County Sheriffs Posse. Clarence was a donor and sponsor on Senior Trips. He had a soft touch for kids organizations.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Mildred sons, Cary Jasper of Stinnett Luke Lawrence and wife Debbie of Dallas daughters, Beth Lawrence of Stinnett and Desire Keasler of Soper, Oklahoma 17 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

There will be a visitation with the family on Friday, January 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors in Borger.

The family requested memorials be made to your favorite charity.
