Services for Belva Leila Flanagan, 72, of Coos Bay, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Coos Bay with the Rev. Everett Curry officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Coos Bay Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Flanagan was born Nov. 21, 1911, at Kearney, Neb., and died June 29 at Eugene. On May 24, 1930, she married Francis R. Flanagan in Marshfield. She lived in the Bay Area for over 50 years, was a housewife, and for many years taught piano lessons. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coos Bay, Doric Chapter 53, Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of American Revolution, the Riverman's Association, and Coos County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, Oct. 11, 1978.
Survivors include daughters, Analyne Flanagan of Hillsboro and Donalee Nelson of San Anselmo, Calif.; sons, Neil Flanagan of Roseburg and Michael Flanagan of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
