Found in The State 17 January 1930: Funeral services for Miss Lillie May Lawson, 19, of Capital City road, who died at a local infirmary Wednesday morning, were held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Whaley street Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. R. C. Griffith, pastor. Interment was in Olympia cemetery. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Molly Wright Lawson; two brothers, Claude Lawson and Elmore Lawson, all of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Wood of Columbia, Mrs. Myrtle Stevenson of Charlotte, N. C., and Miss Dorothy Lawson of Columbia.
