William Monroe Ablard, 81, a resident of Monrovia, California for 39 years, died April 17, 1966 at his home.

Mr. Ablard was a self-employed carpenter for many years prior to his retirements.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie; two sons, Capt. Glen M. Ablard (USAF, Ret.), High Grove, Calif., and Donald L. Ablard, Upland, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs.
Gloria McGhee of Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services under the direction of the Temple and La Gorge Mortuary will be held in Live Oak Memorial Park at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev.
Dr. Jordan Detzer, Pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
