TIMBERLAKE — Mr. Michael Shane Blaylock, 42, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Durham Regional Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born on Jan. 19, 1970 in Durham County, the son of Paulette Harris Blaylock of Timberlake and the late Shug Blaylock. He was a graduate of Northern High School, a member of Red Mountain Baptist Church in Rougemont and was self-employed.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his life partner, Tao Levi of Timberlake; his sisters, Terri Lovette of Charlotte and Michelle Coleman of Florida; and his loving fury companion; Elli and M.J..
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 at Red Mountain Baptist Church by Dr. Tommy Jordan. The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Red Mountain Baptist Church Building Fund in Rougemont.
