Jackson - The funeral of Joseph M. Brugger, 80 years, will be held Saturday morning at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 9 a.m., the Rev. A. A. Eckhoff officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Mr. Brugger died in his sleep Tuesday night, at his home on Kent street. He was born Nov. 28, 1880 near Jackson, a son of Anton and Mary Kiesling Brugger. He was engaged for a long time in farming before his retirement several years ago.

He was married to Miss Helena Reckert, in 1910, who survives with the following children, Martin, Barney and Joseph Brugger of Jackson; Lawrence Brugger of Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Miller of Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Clyde Helton of Sikeston; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Milde of Jackson, 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The body will remain at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home until Saturday morning.
