Frances Ingraham married Frank Harman on 20 Mar 1893 in Walla Walla, Wash. They had five children:
-- Minnie Gen, born 4 Jan 1894 in Freewater, Ore.
-- Clyde Urias, born 20 March 1895 in Freewater and died 8 Aug 1960.
-- Hazel, born in February 1897 in Freewater.
-- Helen, born in June 1898 in Freewater.
-- Bessie M., born in about 1902 in Freewater.

Frank and Frances and their first four children were living in a rented home in the Susanville Precinct of Grant County, Oregon, in the 1900 Census. Frank's occupation is listed as "stationary engineer."

But by the time of the 1910 Census, the family had returned to Milton, Ore., and were counted in the North Milton Precinct. Frank's occupation is listed as "civil engineer."

We have no information on Frank Harman's death. His wife, Frances, died 20 June 1925 in Spokane County, Wash.

Their eldest daughter, Minnie Gen Harman, married Arthur Lovere Jenkins on 8 Apr 1913, Walla Walla, Wash.

By 1917, when Arthur filled out a draft registration card for World War I, he listed his occupation as a clerk with the Fruitland Grocery Co. in Freewater, where he and his family were living.

Arthur and Minnie had four children:
-- Leland Louvere, born 22 Jan 1914, in Freewater.
-- Lowell F., born 9 Aug 1915 in Freewater.
-- Doris Eleanor, born 5 Oct 1918 in Freewater.
-- Arthur Dale (who went by his middle name), born 18 Sept 1920 in Freewater

I can't find a record of the family in the 1920 Census, but by the 1930 Census, they were living in Athena, Ore., where Arthur listed his occupation as a packer in a flouring mill.

In the 1939 City Directory for Athena, Ore., Arthur is listed as a packer for Preston-Shaffer Milling Co., the major flour mill in the area. His youngest son Dale is listed as a cannery worker. Oldest son Leland is also listed with his wife Priscilla, but he does not have an occupation noted.

The same information for Arthur is repeated in the 1941-42 Athena City Directory, but in the 1946 directory he and Minnie are listed as living in Weston and Arthur is a warehouseman for the Eastern Oregon Canning Co., where Leland is the corporate secretary. Arthur and Minnie are not included in the 1951 City Directory, so they must have moved to Lewiston, Idaho, before that.

According to Minnie's obituary from the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, the family "lived in Milton-Freewater prior to moving to Athena. Her husband worked in a flourmill there.

"They moved to a wheat ranch near Lewiston in the late 1940s and helped with the cooking and did handy work. She continued to work after her husband died Aug. 26, 1951. She
moved into Lewiston in 1968 and to Milton-Freewater in February 1985."
