Greensboro News & Record--Wednesday, May 1, 1991--Isaac A. "Ike" Jordan, 78, of 5042 Randleman Road died Tuesday at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Graveside service will be at 2 pm, Thursday in Lakeview Memorial Park. A native of Greensboro, he was the retired chief of police at Indian Rocks Beach, FL, a member of Buchannan Baptist Church, a former Guilford County Sheriff's deputy, and a member of the American Legion in Florida. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Blanche Brady Jordan; daughter, Mrs. Connie Lea Phelps of Daytona Beach, FL; sons, Howard Lee Jordan of Seminole, FL, Raymond Eugene Jordan Sr. of Madison, Robert Wayne Jordan of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Mrs. Anna Laura Whitfield of Gibsonville, Mrs. Julia White, Mrs. Rebecca Winston, both of Greensboro; brothers, Charles Jordan of Greensboro, Perry Jordan of Mount Airy; 10 grandchildren. The family will be at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Street Funeral Home 7-9 pm, today. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Greensboro 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
