YOUNG, William W., (Bill), 70, of Grant, the Crossroads Community, passed away Thursday, June 27, 1996 at Hermitage Methodist Home, Richmond, Va. He was born August 17, 1925 at Grayson County, Va. to Marshal Cleon and Ona Virginia Young Young.

Mr. Young was a U. S. Air Force veteran, having served in World War II, and the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. He retired from the U. S. Postal Service as a rural letter carrier.

Survivors include his daughter, Pam Young, Richmond; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Vera Young, J. C. and Cavell Young, all of the Crossroads Community, Grant, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Earl Repp, West Covina, Calif.; brother-in-law, Pete Boehm, Hemet, Calif.; sister-in-law, Patricia Young, El Paso, Texas; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, July 3, 1996, at 7 p.m. at New Hope Church in the Crossroads Community near Grant, Va., with the Rev. Camet Halsey officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Cemetery Fund, C/O. Mr. G. H. Cornett, Jr., Rt. 1, Box 118-B, Mouth of Wilson, Va. 24363 or to Alzheimers Association for Research, National Headquarters, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1000, Chicago, Ill. 60611. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
