Anna M. (Borowski) Griffin 91 of Passaic died Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Born in Duryea, PA., she resided in Passaic for the past 70 years. She was employed as a quality control representative for Hardman Co. in Belleville for 15 years prior to her retirement. Anna is a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Bloomfield and a former parishioner of St. Nicholas RC Church in Passaic.
She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard Griffin, by a brother, Edward Barrows, by four sisters, Sue Cheek, Eleanor Ziomek, Edna Puchalski and Bertha Evener. Anna is survived by her devoted daughter, Patricia Griffin of Passaic, by a sister, Jean Cedio and husband, Donald of Clifton and by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin 9:15AM Wednesday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ 07012 with a 10AM Mass at St. Thomas RC Church. Followed by burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7PM.
