Son of Noel and Jane Wetzel Battleshell.∼On Tuesday, January 23, 2007, after 31 years on this earth, Joel Freeman Battershell passed on from this life into a place of peace and wonder where he will once again go on walks with his Grandma Winnie to see beautiful things we can only imagine.
Joel lived his life loving music, family, friends and all the good times he could find. Joel's spirit will continue to survive in the hearts of his father, Noel Batterhsell; mother, Jane Wetzel; sisters, Dee-Ann Luoma and Sally Wyckoff; and brother, Gary Battershell, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and more dear friends that anyone could imagine.
Joel's amazing charisma touched the lives of so many people. Like his Grandma Winnie said, "Joel can steal your heart with just a smile." One of Joel's most treasured gifts was that of a story teller.
