Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Balmer, 80, of 1220 Lincoln Way W., Osceola, who died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Turtle Creek Nursing Home, Elkhart, following an illness of two years, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Warner Funeral Home, Osceola. Rev. W. Blythe Whealey, pastor of the Osceola United Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery. Mrs. Balmer was born Nov. 20, 1889, in Wyatt, and had lived in Osceola for four years, coming from Walkerton. On Oct. 5, 1912, in Woodland, she was married as Emma Scheidegger to Charles Balmer, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Arno of Walkerton, and Lester, Sylvester and Robert, all of Mishawaka; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Green of Osceola; a sister Mrs. Ann Smith of Mishawaka; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
