James Frederick Hatcher, 58, of Madison, was dead on arrival Sunday, Nov. 16, at Boone Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

He was a member of Uneeda Church of Christ.

Surviving: wife, Allea; daughters, Janet Kramer of Lexington, Ky., Sandy Ferrell of South Charleston, Debbie Jarrell of Madison, Jean Cooke of Cape May, N.J., Shirley Cress of Atlantic City, N.J.; sisters, Juanita Hanson 0f Jacksonville, Fla., Joyce White of Ripley; brothers, Charles of Ripley, William of Geneva, Ohio; five grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Evangelist Ralph Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck.
