Charles E. Hatcher Sr., 54, of Ripley died March 13, 1996, at Memorial Division, CAMC, after a long illness.

He was retired from Ravenswood Aluminum, was an Army veteran, a member of Fairplain Union Church, and Steel Workers Local 5668.

Surviving; wife, Ruth Hatcher; sons, Charles Jr. of Ripley, Rici of Kenna; daughter, Diana Sigmon of Kenna; brother, William of Geneva, Ohio; sisters, Juanita Hanson of Hurricane, Joyce White of Ripley; four grandchildren.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley with the Rev. Aaron Melhorn officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
